This quiet retreat is close to the quaint fishing village of Stanley with its chairlift up the Nut, superb craft shops, cafes and restaurants. There are safe swimming beaches, deserted surf beaches, historic Highfield House, bird watching, fishing and a golf course only minutes away. Wilderness cruises up the Arthur River, Rocky Cape National Park, Allendale Gardens and Woolnorth are a little further away. The area also offers a variety of wildlife tours including Tasmanian devils, platypus, seals and penguins. The original homestead was built in the 1860s and since has been tastefully extended into a variety of accommodation options. The property is nestled into the hillside of the lovely green hills and offers magnificent views over the Nut, Bass Strait and the peaceful countryside.
